FIVE FACTS FROM THE SOURCE (Embedded):
EX: The article cites Maria Nikolajeva, a professor of at Cambridge, as saying that Bella does not "in any way promote independent thinking or personal development" in women, instead portraying a woman "meek and willing to do anything for her vampire boyfriend" (POV).
The article states that "teen pregnancy is one of the most difficult experiences a young person might ever face" and that it sometimes leads to emotional crisises or "feelings of shame and fear"(POV).
Teens believe that "no one can help" or sometimes teens are too "embarrassed to look for help"(POV).
One important point that they go over is that "denial will not take away the pregnancy" but in fact in can take away from the time that you "could have invested in parental care and counseling"(POV).
The article made sure that teens knew that they had "options, and making a choice may be simple or difficult"(POV).
The article didnt sugarcoat the facts and it even said that "1 in 4 teens is pregnant by the age of 18"(POV).

Summary of Source (Three-Four Sentences of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How in your own words. NO OPINION):
POV simply lays out the facts about teen pregnancies and they even go through the choices that you have. They have frequently asked questions which shows that they get asked the same questions over and over by teen parents. There was no biased opinion in this article, it just stated that you had options and that you could choose for yourself. They also said that teen parents should do their research before they make a decision, and that the decisions might be hard to make.

Credibility of Source:
Author or Site: Who is the author? What training have they had? If there is no author, examine the site. What is the purpose of the site? Who funds the site?
POV does a good job about not showing a clear bias in this situation. The site is funded by adoption media which shows that they believe that the teen parents should give up their children. It does not however show a negative feel about it, if it was funded by abortion media then that would be different.

Attachment: Does the author or site have anything to gain from writing this, or is it simply informative? For example, is it a cigarette business posting an article about the benefit of cigarettes, or is it a scientific community unaffiliated with the cigarette business?
This site is truly informative, they really cant gain anything from promoting this site because they are dealing with human lives. The site is linked up with many positive sources for adoption. They are just trying to make life easier not only on the teen parents but also couples that are struggling to have children themselves.

Bias: Do you detect a bias (a favoring of either side) in the author's writing?
Honestly i do not see a bias because they are just getting the word out there about adoption and they arent forcing these teen parents to put their children up there. It might seem harsh due to the fact that they arent sugar coating the facts but i do believe that they are doing their job about informing teen parents of their options.

References: Does the author cite references in the writing? If so, do these add or take away from the credibility?
The site does quote planned parenthood which gives it more of a feels to put your children up for adoption, however the only reason they quoted planned parenthood was to out up facts.

Use of Source: How will you use this source in your project?
I am going to use this source to show that teens do not understand the severity of being a teen parents because the FAQs have questions about raising a child on their own or even staying healthy. I think that this sight is here to help the many teen parents that did not know what they got themselves into.
